Bankr users can link a Coinbase account and check portfolios, trade crypto, stocks and futures, and move funds from one chat, the company said on November 6, 2026.
Bankr said on X on November 6, 2026 that users can now connect a Coinbase account to its agent. The post says users can check Coinbase portfolios, trade crypto, stocks and futures, and move funds from one chat. It directs users to bankr.bot/coinbase to get started.
Bankr founder 0xDeployer wrote on X on November 6, 2026 that the connection uses Bankr’s native support for the Model Context Protocol and that users can connect and trade directly through a Coinbase account. MCP is an open standard for connecting AI applications to outside data sources and tools.
Bankr’s documentation describes how MCP servers work on its platform. Once a server is added, every tool it provides becomes callable through Bankr. Servers can be added in the Bankr Console or by describing them in chat. With OAuth servers, the user signs in through a popup without pasting a key, and Bankr keeps the tokens in encrypted storage. MCP servers are not used on X or Farcaster, and a wallet can have up to 20 of them.
Coinbase opened customer accounts to AI agents on October 22, 2026, 24/7 Wall St. reported. Under that setup, which runs through Coinbase’s own MCP server, users choose which portfolios an agent can reach, preview orders before they execute, and can disconnect the agent at any time.
